Accounts Payable Manager
As an Accounts Payable Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time. Your role will be key in maintaining efficient financial processes and supporting the wider accounting and finance functions.

This role is with a large organisation operating within the manufacturing sector. This business are predicting their work load to increase steadily over the next few months, resulting in a fast pace working environment.
Description
- Manage the accounts payable team and oversee their daily tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and address any queries.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts payable metrics and performance.
- Support internal audits and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Profile
A Successful Accounts Payable Manager Should Have
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and suppliers.
- An eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
