Opportunity

Brunswick is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. Working across a complex, international and fast-paced business, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our financial operations run seamlessly, taking ownership of everything from invoices and payments to expenses, supplier relationships and day-to-day queries.

This role combines accuracy and pace with a genuinely people-focused approach. You’ll have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with colleagues across the firm and contribute beyond the core AP process through wider projects and analysis.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering work to a high standard, demonstrates sound judgement and attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team where professionalism, responsiveness and strong relationships matter.

About the Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time, with a minimum of 30 invoices posted per day
  • Responding to AP mailbox queries within 24 hours
  • Reviewing and posting pending items daily, ensuring they are cleared within 48 hours
  • Preparing BACS payments every two weeks
  • Managing, reviewing and posting staff expense claims
  • Setting up and verifying supplier and staff bank details in line with company policy
  • Uploading batch journals
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Preparing and setting up ad hoc payments in the bank on a weekly basis
  • Responding to ad hoc queries and carrying out analysis as required
  • Supporting and reviewing the apprentice’s workload and development

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
