Accounts Payable Specialist £19.78–£21.97ph | Temp ASAP start – December 2026 | Fully Remote Financial Services | 9am–5pm
A leading financial services firm is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its busy Finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fully remote role, ideal for someone with strong end-to-end AP experience who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
The Role
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable / P2P process.
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices.
- Manage supplier statements, reconciliations, credits, and payment queries.
- Prepare and support payment runs, ensuring appropriate controls are followed.
- Monitor AP ageing and resolve outstanding items.
- Investigate discrepancies, duplicate invoices, and overpayments.
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and audits.
- Use Oracle NetSuite and invoice automation/OCR systems.
- Work with internal and international stakeholders across multiple entities.
- Support process improvements and new entity onboarding.

About You
- Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable / P2P experience.
- Experience with supplier reconciliations, payment runs, and AP ageing.
- Oracle NetSuite experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with invoice automation/OCR systems.
- Advance Excel skills.
- Good understanding of payment and financial controls.
- Experience supporting month-end and audit.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working across multiple legal entities and with international stakeholders.
- Financial services, banking, or shared services experience would be advantageous.
- Available to start ASAP and happy working fully remotely.
