Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: London or Dubai
Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Group Financial Controller
Miryco Consultants is working with a fast-growing international financial services business that is looking to appoint two Accounts Payable Specialists to join its Group Finance function.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced AP professional to take ownership of the full accounts payable cycle across six international entities, working across multiple currencies, banking relationships, and tax environments.
With significant transaction volumes and a strong focus on process improvement, standardisation, controls, and automation, this role offers excellent visibility across the wider finance function and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
The Role
You will take ownership of the end-to-end AP process across entities in the UK, US, France, UAE, Singapore, and Panama, managing a high-volume and multi-currency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the full AP cycle across multiple international entities.
- Processing and managing approximately 1,000 invoices per month, alongside employee expenses.
- Managing supplier reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing and coordinating regular payment runs.
- Supporting AP forecasting and cash flow planning.
- Assisting with month-end close activities.
- Supporting indirect tax requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Managing corporate card processes and reconciliations.
- Maintaining strong payment controls and ensuring appropriate approvals are followed.
- Working within a NetSuite environment.
- Identifying opportunities to improve, standardise, and automate AP processes.
- Supporting wider Group Finance projects and initiatives as required.

About You
We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of accounts payable and enjoys being a hands-on owner of the process.
Ideally, you will have:
- 3–5 years' experience in Accounts Payable / Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of the full AP lifecycle.
- Experience working in an international, multi-entity, or multi-currency environment.
- Strong understanding of supplier reconciliations, payment runs, and month-end processes.
- Experience working across different banking and tax environments.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to financial controls.
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience would be advantageous.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in process improvement and automation.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the Group Finance function.
