Accounts Payable Specialist
12 month FTC - Hybrid
Venture Recruitment Partners is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive finance professional to join a busy environment where accuracy, efficiency and strong communication are key.
You will support the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring invoices, expenses and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities include
- Processing invoices, expenses and payments
- Completing reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and systems
- Assisting with payment runs and month-end processes
- Responding to supplier and internal queries
- Supporting financial reporting and data validation
- Ensuring transactions comply with company policies and procedures
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
- Managing workload effectively and meeting deadlines
- Supporting wider finance and administrative activities as required

We are looking for someone with
- Previous Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or Finance Administration experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
