Summary

- Based at Manchester Airport
- Hybrid Role (2 office days a week – Tuesdays and Thursdays)

About The Role
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will act as the subject matter expert within the team across the MAG Group and CAVU, our global online business.
Working as a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you will manage and resolve complex supplier and stakeholder queries in a timely manner, process high-value and intricate invoices, and oversee regular payment runs and reporting activities.
You will also build strong relationships through vendor and stakeholder meetings, providing expert support and guidance while helping to develop the knowledge and capability of the wider team.
What will make you successful in the role?
The successful candidate will bring significant, specialist Accounts Payable experience gained within a complex, fast-paced organisation. As the Accounts Payable subject matter expert for the group, the successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of end-to-end AP processes, enabling them to confidently manage complex transactions, resolve escalated supplier and stakeholder queries, and provide expert guidance to colleagues across the wider business.

They will have strong hands-on experience of working with SAP and CONCUR, and an understanding of the CIS process, alongside experience of managing Travel & Expenses. The successful candidate will have the expertise to support them in building credible relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders and senior leaders, while supporting continuous improvement and helping to enhance the capability and knowledge of the Accounts Payable team.
In addition, the successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service. As the team is undergoing an exciting transformation project towards implementing S/4 HANA, experience in this would be advantageous but is not essential to the role.
