Accounts Payable Specialist and Senior Roles in Coalville
These are initially short-term contracts with a potential to be extended or made permanent if successful in the role.
Client Details
Our client is a large UK-based organisation operating out of their head office in Coalville. The organisation has strengthened its market position and it is an exciting time to be joining them as they grow and scale the P2P function.
Description
Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist will include:
- Process and manage supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Payments to suppliers.
- Assist in month-end closing activities by providing necessary data.
- Support the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Contribute to process improvements.

Profile
The Accounts Payable Specialist will:
- Be available on short notice
- Have previous experience in an accounts payable or a similar role.
- Good experience dealing with high volume invoices.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
