Accounts Payable Coordinator – International Law Firm
Liverpool Street | 18 Month Contract | Hybrid Working – Only 2 Days Per Week in the Office
Up to £45,000
A leading international law firm is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its finance team on an 18 month contract.
Offering an excellent hybrid working arrangement with only two days per week required in the office, this is a hands on AP role covering the London, Brussels and other international offices.
The role
- Processing accounts payable invoices across multiple offices
- Preparing ad hoc and regular supplier payments
- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
- Dealing with supplier and internal AP queries
- Monitoring and managing the Accounts Payable inbox
- Setting up new vendors and following relevant procedures
- Clearing and reconciling payments
- Running foreign office payment reports
- Processing Brussels office payments and partner expenses
- Checking invoices for VAT requirements
- Supporting the wider finance team as required

About you
You will ideally have 2 to 4 years' Accounts Payable experience from a legal or professional services background and a good understanding of general accounting and bookkeeping. Previous law firm experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
Experience of Elite 3E, VAT and Solicitors' Accounts Rules would also be advantageous, although these are preferred rather than essential requirements.

This would suit someone with solid AP experience who is accurate, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for a busy workload within a professional finance environment.
