The Role

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Accounts Payable professional with people management experience who enjoys improving processes, driving efficiencies and supporting the development of a high-performing team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, supporting a team of seven and ensuring accurate, timely payment processing across multiple legal entities. You'll also contribute to ongoing transformation projects, helping to enhance processes and maximise the effectiveness of AI-enabled invoice automation tools.

Please note this position is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from anywhere.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching and supporting the Accounts Payable team, helping to prioritise workloads and deliver against deadlines.
  • Reviewing and approving weekly payment runs while ensuring compliance with financial controls and approval processes.
  • Supporting month-end activities and reporting.
  • Managing key supplier relationships and maintaining high-profile accounts.
  • Driving improvements across purchase order and invoice approval processes.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to resolve payment queries and improve ways of working.
  • Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including invoice automation and AI-enabled processing tools.
  • Assisting with audits, projects and wider Finance team initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
