We’re working with a long-established, financially stable construction and property business that has built an excellent reputation for its people, customers, and suppliers.
The business has been established for nearly 80 years, continues to grow year-on-year, and has ambitious plans for further expansion. - Ensuring invoices are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Maintaining strong financial controls and managing AP-related risk
- Overseeing supplier relationships, queries, and payment processes
- Supporting month-end and year-end activities
- Monitoring team performance, workloads, SLAs, and KPIs
- Managing absence, performance, and development within the team
- Ensuring the team is sufficiently trained and empowered to resolve queries independently
- Supporting compliance with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), including monthly HMRC returns
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processing
- Working with operational teams to address non-compliance and strengthen processes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
