Accounts Payable Supervisor
As an Accounts Payable Supervisor in the industrial/manufacturing sector, your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You'll play a key part in keeping the accounts payable function running smoothly and supporting the wider finance team.

This organisation operates in the industrial/manufacturing sector, based in Slough.
Description
- Supervise the accounts payable team and their daily tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve invoice or payment queries.
- Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Monitor and improve accounts payable processes for efficiency.
- Provide support and training to team members as needed.

Profile
A Successful Accounts Payable Supervisor Should Have
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- SAP experience is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and improve processes.

Job Offer
- Hourly rate of £23.00 to £28.00, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary contract offering flexibility and valuable experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
