Job Description:
Role purpose
The Accounts Production Administrator prepares and updates financial statements using Caseware, working from financial information provided by the team. The role suits someone who is organised, keen to learn, and comfortable following clear guidance and timescales. No accounting qualification or training contract is attached to this role, though there may be opportunities for further development for strong performers.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare and update financial statements using Caseware, based on financial information provided.
- Perform iXBRL tagging of financial statements using the appropriate software.
- Follow the training materials and guidance provided, and complete tasks within the recommended time.
- Communicate clearly on the status of work, and ask questions when something is unclear.
- Liaise with stakeholders to obtain the information needed to complete assigned tasks.
- Manage own time and workload effectively across assigned tasks.
- Take responsibility for the quality of own work and make good use of the resources available.
- Accurately record time on timesheets.
- Take responsibility for own goals and targets.

Essential
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), grade C/4 or above.
- Comfortable using everyday IT systems, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage own time and work to deadlines.
Desirable
- Previous experience using Caseware.
- A background in accounting or finance.
Training and development
Full training is provided, and no formal accounting qualification or training contract is required for this role. We welcome applications from candidates with no prior Caseware or accounting experience. For strong performers, there may be opportunities for further development over time.
Working arrangements
This role is advertised as full-time, permanent. It can be worked flexibly from home, and we are open to hybrid working arrangements for candidates who would prefer this. We are also open to considering flexible or part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
