Accounts, Purchasing/Admin Assistant
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Accounts, Purchasing/Admin Assistant to work within a small busy office on a full-time basis. Hours of work are 37 per week, days of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Accounts Qualifications are desirable but not essential, however it is essential that applicants have up to date experience within a similar role, preferably with working knowledge of Sage accounting systems (or similar). Must possess excellent computer skills and be conversant in using Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook (email).
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Checking and sending Sales invoices.
- Processing credit notes and managing customer debit notes.
- Managing Debtors, Creditors.
- Monthly Credit Card reconciliation.
- Assisting with accounts queries.
- Preparing customer statements.
- Answering Incoming calls and managing reception.
- Setting up sales quotations.
- Material purchasing and related duties.
- Assisting the Business & Finance Manager with any adhoc duties that may be required.
- Any other general administration duties as required.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal staff and customers in a professional manner using a variety of communication methods - face to face, telephone and email. Attention to detail, focus and accuracy are essential attributes for this role, along with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads.
