Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Finance team based in Airdrie.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance team, the Accounts Receivable Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable function, ensuring customer accounts are accurately maintained and payments are received and processed efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and numerical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and allocate customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Raise and issue customer invoices and credit notes
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor outstanding debt and follow up on overdue payments
  • Maintain accurate customer account records
  • Respond to customer queries professionally and efficiently
  • Support month-end processes and reporting requirements
  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Assist with general finance administration duties as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable, finance administration, or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving
