Accounts Receivable Assistant
The Accounts Receivable Assistant will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate records, and supporting the wider accounting team. This permanent role is based in central Northampton, please note this role is 5 days on site.

Our client is a well-established and growing provider of residential care services, operating multiple high-quality care homes across the UK.
Description
The Accounts Receivable Assistant's duties will include but are not limited to:
- Process and manage incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely recording.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Generate and distribute invoices to clients promptly.
- Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and customer queries.
- Support the preparation of regular financial reports for internal use.

Profile
A Successful Accounts Receivable Assistant Should Have
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
