Accounts Receivable Executive (Maternity Cover)
Location: Oxford Airport, Kidlington - office based
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until the end of July 2027
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: £32,000 per annum

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive to join our Finance team based at Oxford Airport on a maternity cover contract through to July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships while taking ownership of key accounts receivable processes.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Accounts Receivable Executive, you'll play a key role in managing cash collection, customer accounts, and revenue processes across our UK and Ireland operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of the debtors ledger for our UK and Ireland subsidiaries.
- Managing credit control activities while maintaining strong customer relationships through phone and email communication.
- Proactively resolving invoice and payment queries in a timely manner.
- Ensuring debt collection targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Raising weekly, mid-month, and month-end sales invoices.
- Processing daily bank transactions and allocating customer receipts within NetSuite.
- Managing the Accounts Receivable inbox and responding to customer queries.
- Supervising and supporting a part-time Accounts Receivable colleague based overseas.
- Working closely with Station Managers to ensure revenue trackers remain accurate and invoicing issues are resolved.
- Conducting weekly debtor review meetings with the Finance Manager, highlighting risks and recovery plans.
- Partnering with the FP&A team to analyse weekly revenue performance against forecast.
- Managing the daily administration of the HSBC Invoice Finance facility.
- Completing monthly HSBC Net reconciliations by the required deadlines.
- Opening new customer accounts and conducting credit checks.
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Sales Ledger.
- Strong understanding of debtor management and cash collection processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
- Experience with NetSuite would be advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
