Are you an experienced Finance professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, collaboration and customer service are key?

At Parkdean Resorts, we're looking for a Finance Officer to join our dynamic Finance team. If you enjoy working with high-volume transactions, investigating discrepancies and making a real impact on business performance, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will be doing...

  • Processing high-volume financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Delivering core finance activities in line with agreed service levels and performance standards.
  • Completing reconciliations and investigating variances, working with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
  • Reviewing and clearing unallocated receipts, payments and account balances within required timescales.
  • Supporting the achievement of departmental KPIs and performance targets.
  • Building strong working relationships across the business to deliver an excellent internal customer experience.
  • Identifying barriers to performance and contributing to solutions that improve outcomes.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and eliminate non-value-adding activities.
  • Supporting compliance with company information security policies by reporting any potential weaknesses or breaches.
  • Taking responsibility for health, safety and safeguarding practices, helping to maintain a safe environment for colleagues, guests and visitors.

About you...

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Finance Officer or similar finance role.
  • Experience managing high-volume transactional processes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working within strict financial controls and deadlines, ideally in a Shared Service Centre environment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • A positive, proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a changing environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to act as a positive role model within the team.
