📍 Central London office with very flexible hybrid working 📅 6-month contract with likelihood of going permanent 💷 Day rate being finalised, likely circa £300 per day outside IR35 ⏰ Must be available on 2 weeks’ notice or less
I’m currently working on an urgent interim AR Manager opportunity with a fast-growing global technology business, who are looking for someone who is comfortable working across complex systems, multiple entities and currencies, and who can hit the ground running in a fast-changing environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of the AR function, providing leadership to a team of four and ensuring a smooth transition from the outgoing manager
- Acting as the AR lead for the newly live NetSuite / Salesforce integration, troubleshooting data and system issues and driving process fixes
- Owning invoicing and sales order approval processes
- Personally handling complex AR transactions, disputed invoices, customer queries and non-standard billing arrangements
- Managing AR across multiple entities and currencies, including FX, intercompany and VAT/tax considerations
- Overseeing collections, cash application and AR reporting
- Acting as the escalation point for complex billing and payment issues
- Working closely with Sales, Operations, Systems, Accounting and Finance stakeholders
- Supporting month-end close, audit requirements and ongoing process improvement

- Strong Accounts Receivable / billing experience
- Hands-on NetSuite and Salesforce experience – essential
- Experience working across multiple entities and currencies
- Strong problem-solving and systems skills
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to work at pace
- Previous management experience is beneficial but not essential
- SaaS / recurring revenue experience would be advantageous
