- Lead the Accounts Receivable function, driving strong cash collection performance and ensuring overdue debt is proactively managed and resolved.
- Take ownership of customer credit risk, monitoring account health, reducing bad debt exposure, and providing clear recommendations on risk mitigation.
- Deliver meaningful reporting and insight to senior leadership on cash performance, debtor trends, collection activity, and financial risk.
- Ensure billing, cash allocation, and account reconciliations are accurate, timely, and well-controlled, maintaining confidence in customer account data.
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and Finance to remove payment barriers, resolve disputes, and improve the customer payment experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and automation, helping the team work more efficiently and focus on high-value activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
