Interim O2C Lead Manager | Finance Operations Transformation

Robert Half is supporting a large-scale finance transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Order-to-Cash (O2C) Leader to oversee a high-performing finance operations function during a period of significant change.
This is an operational leadership role focused on ensuring service excellence, driving performance, strengthening controls, and delivering continuous improvement across the O2C lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop operational teams across Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Collections, Billing, and Cash Application.
- Drive improvements in cash collection, aged debt, working capital, and overall O2C performance.
- Monitor and improve key service metrics, KPIs, and operational controls.
- Partner with Finance, Commercial, Customer Operations, and Shared Services stakeholders to resolve issues and drive performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardisation.
- Support the business through ongoing transformation activities whilst maintaining strong day-to-day operational delivery.
- Coach, develop, and motivate team members within a fast-paced environment.

We're Interested in Speaking With Professionals Who Have:
- β Leadership experience within O2C, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections functions
- β Experience managing operational teams and performance metrics
- β Strong understanding of working capital, cash collection, and receivables management
- β Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- β Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms
- β Excellent stakeholder management skills across Finance and wider business functions
