Accounts Semi Senior – Northampton

£28,000 - £40,000 | ACA/ACCA Study Support

In this role, you'll prepare year-end accounts, tax returns, and other accounting work for a varied portfolio of clients, while gradually taking on more responsibility as your experience develops.

We're working with a growing accountancy practice in Northampton that's looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join its team.

The Role

You'll work across a varied client portfolio, with responsibilities including:

  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Preparing corporation tax returns
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping where required
  • Liaising directly with clients and dealing with day-to-day queries
  • Working closely with senior team members on more complex assignments
  • Gradually taking on greater client responsibility as you progress
