An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established and growing independent accountancy practice. Working within a friendly and supportive team, you will gain exposure to a varied client portfolio and enjoy excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Your new role
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of limited companies and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
- Assisting with VAT return preparation
- Supporting the wider accounts team with client assignments and ad hoc projects
- Liaising with clients and providing day-to-day support
- Assisting with general office and administrative duties when required

- Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying
- Have previous experience preparing accounts within an accountancy practice environment
- Possess knowledge of corporation tax and personal tax compliance
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Show initiative and a proactive approach to work
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be eager to learn and develop new skills
This position would suit a part-qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA professional who is looking to further develop their technical skills within a dynamic practice environment.
