Are you looking to join a friendly, independent accountancy practice where you'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of SME clients while enjoying genuine flexibility and excellent work-life balance?

An established and highly regarded Bristol-based accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

The Role

Working with a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients across a range of sectors, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Preparing management accounts and financial reports
  • Supporting the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
  • Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
  • Assisting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting junior team members where appropriate

About You

We are keen to speak with individuals who have:

  • Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
  • Previous exposure to accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
  • AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience candidates are all encouraged to apply
