Description
Xeinadin is looking for an Accounts Junior or Semi-Senior to join our friendly and supportive team. We are open to considering candidates at different stages of their careers, from school leavers and graduates seeking their first role in accountancy through to experienced candidates who are part-qualified AAT or ACCA.
The responsibilities and level of support provided will be tailored to the successful candidate’s experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience across accounts, management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping while developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Depending on experience, the role will include:
- Preparing accounts for limited companies, charities and other organisations.
- Preparing supporting schedules and maintaining clear, accurate working papers.
- Preparing management accounts and assisting clients in understanding their financial information.
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
- Assisting clients with Xero, bookkeeping and general accounting queries.
- Supporting clients with their Making Tax Digital obligations.
- Corresponding directly with clients to request information and resolve queries.
- Managing allocated assignments and ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
- Identifying accounting, tax and bookkeeping matters requiring further consideration.
- Taking increasing ownership of assignments from initial preparation through to completion.
- Working closely with colleagues as part of a small and supportive team.
- Assisting members of staff where appropriate.
- Developing technical knowledge through practical experience and professional study.
Key Requirements
We welcome applications from candidates at either trainee or semi-senior level.
- Ideally three A levels, or equivalent qualifications, preferably including mathematics, economics, business or another numerate subject.
- A relevant degree would be helpful but is not essential.
- Previous experience in an office environment or with accounting software would be beneficial.
- Part-qualified AAT or ACCA or a willingness to begin studying towards the AAT/ACCA qualification.
- Practical experience preparing limited company accounts, management accounts or VAT returns would be beneficial.
- Experience preparing charity accounts would be helpful but is not essential.
