A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice is seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to work with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses while enjoying genuine career progression and a supportive working environment.

Description
As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio and delivering high-quality accounting services. You will work closely with managers and partners while building strong relationships with clients across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
- Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Assisting with client meetings and advisory projects
Profile
A Successful Accounts Senior
- Has experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Is AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification
- Has strong accounts preparation experience
- Possesses excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Has experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
