Accounts Senior – Tunbridge Wells
In this role, you'll be preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, corporation tax returns and other accounting work while taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients.

We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells that's looking for an Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who's built solid experience within practice and now wants more responsibility, client contact and a clear route for longer-term progression.

The Role
You'll work with a varied portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
- Preparing corporation tax returns and computations
- Preparing/reviewing management accounts and VAT returns
- Acting as a regular point of contact for clients
- Dealing with day-to-day accounting and tax queries
- Reviewing work completed by junior and semi-senior team members
- Supporting and developing less experienced members of the team
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex client work
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates with solid experience working within a UK accountancy practice who are comfortable preparing accounts and dealing directly with clients. You could be ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or QBE – our client is more interested in finding someone with the right experience and attitude than somebody who ticks every box.
