Location: Crosby

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum, DOE

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts professional to join our client’s friendly team. This is a varied role managing your own portfolio of clients, preparing statutory and management accounts, and supporting businesses across a range of sectors. There is also the opportunity to become involved in audit work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of corporation tax computations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Draft corporation tax computations.
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory deadlines
  • Liaise with clients to provide a high standard of service

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
  • Strong accounts preparation experience
  • Good technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively

Desirable

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • Willingness to become involved in audit work
