Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Senior to join our finance team. This vital role offers the opportunity to lead financial reporting, manage complex accounting processes. As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance across various accounting functions. Your expertise will help drive the organisation’s financial health and support strategic decision-making.
Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and efficiency
- Utilise accounting software Sage and Xero
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development
- Support financial management activities by monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports

Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting Software XERO for 4 years or more
- Strong background in financial services or related industries demonstrating comprehensive financial management skills
- Familiarity with financial accounting principles and practices aligned with industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to handle accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is highly desirable
- Knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
