Accounts Senior

This Accounts Senior role, based in Tonbridge, focuses on providing high-quality accounting services within the professional services industry. You'll play a key part in supporting clients and ensuring their financial operations run smoothly.

Client Details

Our client is a leading accountancy firm in Tonbridge. They are a multi-office business and have experienced rapid growth.

Description

  • Prepare financial statements and accounts for clients in line with regulations.
  • Support clients with tax compliance and planning tasks.
  • Manage client relationships and provide expert advice when needed.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure accurate VAT returns and submissions are completed on time.
  • Support with MTD processes.
  • Keep up to date with changes in accounting legislation and practices.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and team efficiency.

Profile

A Successful Accounts Senior Should Have

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
