Accounts Senior Role
We are seeking an Accounts Senior to join the supportive team of a growing and ambitious firm of accountants. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and part qualified ACCA or ACA.
This dynamic firm provides tailored accountancy and tax advisory services to a wide range of clients including SMEs, high net worth individuals, and large multinational corporations, and takes pride in going above and beyond for its clients but also in developing and progressing its team members.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders to a high standard
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
- Daily bookkeeping and preparing and filing monthly and quarterly VAT returns under all types of VAT schemes
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard
- Liaising with clients on queries to ensure work is complete
- Assist with the development and training of junior members of the team
- Deliver excellent client service
- Ad-hoc work to support the Managers
Requirements
Please do apply for this Accounts Senior role if you can satisfy the following:
- AAT qualified and a minimum of part-qualified ACA / ACCA
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in practice within the UK
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Knowledge of CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax, preferred but not essential
- Ability to develop client relationships
- Hands on, diligent, and able to demonstrate excellent client interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines
