Job Opportunity: Accounts Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Senior to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships and ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and be proficient in various accounting software, including, Sage and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the needs of Clients with Statutory filings, providing ad hoc advice, dealing with Client queries, and managing Client relationships.
  • Meet Clients in our Derby and Ripley office.
  • Work autonomously on your own initiative, with support from the team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Be a point of contact for queries and manage client deadlines.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and file VAT Returns.
  • Assist with Software set up, Migration, and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-department teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact clients.

Experience

  • Proven experience of working in Practice for 3 years+.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as, Xero, Taxcalc, QuickBooks, or similar applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident and a good positive attitude.

Pay

  • Up to £38,000.00 per year
