Job Opportunity: Accounts Senior
A growing and successful accountancy practice has a requirement for an Accounts Senior to join their firm based in their Paignton office. You will provide year-end accounts, tax, VAT compliance, and wider services to a mixed client base across a range of industry sectors and turnovers as a key, long-term addition.

Based in Paignton, this highly successful firm of accountants has grown consistently since its inception and acts for a very wide-ranging client base across a whole variety of sectors. The firm acts for varied sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, up into the £millions in turnover. TaxCalc and Xero are the main accounting software, and the firm provides a supportive, team-cultured environment with a mix of home to office working on offer, once settled into the firm and role post probation.

Description
Joining as an Accounts Senior based in the firm's Paignton office, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts and tax returns, alongside managing the hands-on delivery of VAT compliance and a further range of general accountancy practice services, to a mixed and varied client base of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies up to millions of turnover. You will carve a key, highly valued, and long-term position within this long-serving, close-knit team and firm environment.
Profile
You will have a career background developed in accountancy practice, working for small, medium, or larger accountancy firms in your career history, preparing year-end accounts, tax, and providing other associated practice services to sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies as an Accounts Senior, or similar-level professional with at least one to two years, or considerably more experience developed within an accountancy firm so far. You may be AAT qualified, or level 3/4 etc. studying or purely focused on experience only through your career and will be seeking a new career move within a successful, highly regarded firm of accountants, where you can see the potential for a long-term career move on offer.

Job Offer
