Your new company

Well-established, growing, independent black country accountancy practice looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to support its expanding client portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team within a firm that continues to experience strong growth. You'll play an integral part in the evolution of the accounts team and will work as a trusted advisor to clients, adding value and supporting their future growth plans.

Your new role

As an Accounts Senior within this growing firm, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing statutory accounts under FRS105 and FRS102
  • Preparing corporate tax computations for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Preparing quarterly management accounts
  • Looking at business performance
  • Supporting clients to solve problems
  • Advising clients on how to manage their accounts more efficiently
  • Developing relationships

You will ideally be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, although strong qualified-by-experience candidates will also be considered. Previous experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105 and also preparing management information, corporate tax computations and VAT returns, will be essential. Alongside your accounting knowledge and experience, you will be a confident communicator who enjoys client contact.

Applicants must possess relevant UK accountancy practice experience to be considered for this role.
