Your new role
Our client, a well-established independent firm in West London, is seeking an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their close-knit team and play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
This is a hands-on position offering a mix of accounts production, personal tax compliance and advisory work, together with responsibility for managing and developing client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
- Reviewing year-end statutory accounts prepared by junior team members
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for directors and sole traders
- Providing tax planning and advisory support to clients
- Managing day-to-day client relationships and acting as the main point of contact
- Supporting the Partners with business development opportunities
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of staff
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines

What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
