Accreditation Officer

Professional Membership Body
Nottingham – Hybrid Working (2 Days Office / 3 Days Home)
Salary: £30,500
12-Month Maternity Cover
Starting Late October/Early November 2026

Our client, a well-established professional membership body, is looking for an organised and customer-focused Accreditation Officer to join its membership team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

The Accreditation Officer will administer a range of individual and specialist accreditation schemes while providing an excellent service to members and prospective applicants. The successful candidate will also support membership recruitment, retention, and engagement activities, helping to promote the organisation’s accreditation and development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer individual and specialist accreditation schemes, including applications, renewals, CPD log reviews, and revalidations.
  • Coordinate accreditation monitoring processes and liaise with external assessors where required.
  • Process corporate, in-house, and external provider accreditation applications and renewals.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of accreditation certificates.
  • Maintain accurate accreditation records, reports, forms, and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to queries concerning accreditation, revalidation, CPD requirements, and application processes.
  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of accreditation schemes and membership services.
  • Support membership recruitment, retention, and engagement campaigns.
  • Contribute to the continued development and improvement of accreditation policies and procedures.
  • Analyse membership and accreditation data and produce reports when required.

The Successful Candidate

  • Previous experience within a membership organisation, professional body, or charity.
  • Experience administering accreditation, certification, or quality assurance schemes.
  • Strong membership services, customer service, or account management experience.
  • Experience coordinating projects or member engagement initiatives.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident using CRM or membership databases.
  • Able to analyse data and produce clear reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
