We are seeking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic individual looking for a part-time cleaning position within our Estates and Facilities team, is that you?

Are you looking for part-time work on a rota basis:

  • Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Salary: NHS AFC: Band 2

Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness standards in line with National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS.
  • Provide general cleaning in various areas.
  • Follow infection prevention and control guidelines.
  • Ensure safe use and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Adhere to safe working practices.
  • Work to a cleaning schedule.
  • Complete tasks such as damp dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
  • Bed base cleaning.
  • Change curtains as per guidelines.
  • Complete cleanliness audits.
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials.
  • Monitor and order linen.
  • Maintain water flushings.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Report maintenance and repairs.
  • Carry a personal alarm in designated areas.
  • Complete time sheets.
  • Raise non-compliance issues with the line manager.
  • Complete mandatory training as required.
