We are working with a small, growing multidisciplinary environmental consultancy that is looking to appoint an Acoustic Consultant as part of its continued expansion. With a close-knit team, this is an opportunity to join a business where you can make a genuine contribution, work across a varied range of environmental planning projects, and build your career beyond a traditional acoustic role.
The Role
The Acoustic Consultant role would suit someone with at least one year's relevant consultancy experience who is confident working independently. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute to the continued development of a growing consultancy.

- Preparing noise reports, planning assessments, and acoustic assessments
- Carrying out acoustic assessments in line with relevant standards
- Working with clients and project teams across a range of environmental and commercial projects
- Applying knowledge of BS 4142 and BS 8233
- Contributing to a multidisciplinary team and supporting wider environmental planning work

To be considered for the Acoustic Consultant position, you'll need:
- At least 1 year's relevant acoustic consultancy experience
- Experience producing reports and assessments independently
- Experience with BS 4142 and BS 8233
- Commercial/project environment exposure desirable
- A full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- To live in or near the Basingstoke/Winchester office area
This opportunity would suit an experienced Acoustic Consultant looking for greater autonomy, or a Senior Acoustic Consultant seeking a broader role within a growing business.
