Acoustic Consultant (Remote) : Noise and Acoustics Division

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team in a fully remote role, ideally based between Manchester and Birmingham. With a salary of up to GBP45,000, this is a great opportunity to take a lead role in developing our growing Noise and Acoustics division, aligned closely with our wider sustainability offering.

You'll be working with Tier 1 contractors on an increasing pipeline of projects, including BREEAM assessments and sound insulation testing, with real scope to bring work in-house and shape the service line.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and delivering acoustic projects, including BREEAM credits and sound insulation testing
  • Working closely with Tier 1 contractors, developers and design teams to provide practical acoustic solutions
  • Supporting the growth of the Noise and Acoustics division, helping expand services and workload
  • Producing and reviewing technical outputs such as noise impact assessments, noise modelling, and noise at work assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant guidance and standards, including Building Regulations Part E
  • Contributing to sustainable design outcomes by integrating acoustics into environmentally responsible projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
