Skillsoft is seeking a high-performing Acquisition Account Executive with a proven track record in enterprise sales. In this role, you will be a true hunter. You will relentlessly prospect and engage senior decision makers across complex organizations, leveraging a strategic, solution-selling approach. This role is ideal for someone who consistently exceeds quota, thrives in high-stakes environments, and excels at building and converting an ambitious pipeline through creativity, tenacity, and expert relationship management. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive New Logo Growth by consistently exceeding revenue targets by winning new enterprise customers and creating long-term strategic value.
- Lead Executive Workforce Transformation conversations by engaging CHROs, CIOs, Talent Leaders, and Business Executives around workforce readiness, AI adoption, skills gaps, and organizational transformation.
- Build a high-value pipeline by generating and maintaining 4-5x pipeline coverage through disciplined prospecting, account planning, and targeted outreach.
- Sell business outcomes by positioning Skillsoft's Skills Management Platform as a strategic solution that helps organizations identify, develop, deploy, and measure critical workforce capabilities.
- Orchestrate complex Enterprise sales cycles and lead multi-stakeholder opportunities across HR, IT, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Create Executive-Level relationships by developing trusted advisor status with senior decision-makers and aligning Skillsoft solutions to business priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Create demand through a combination of outbound activity, social selling, referrals, executive networking, and account-based engagement.
- Deliver insight-led customer engagement by conducting deep account research and bring industry, workforce, and skills-based insights that challenge customer thinking.
- Partner effectively with Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Product Specialists, Marketing, and Leadership to advance opportunities.
- Demonstrate measurable impact through workforce readiness, productivity improvement, compliance, talent mobility, and transformation outcomes.
- Master the Skillsoft value story and become an expert in Skills Intelligence, AI-powered learning, workforce transformation, talent development, and organizational capability building.
- Maximize deal value, accelerate time-to-close, and create the foundation for long-term customer success.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity management practices through disciplined CRM execution.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 5+ years of success selling enterprise SaaS or business transformation solutions with a proven history of quota overachievement.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage VP, SVP, C-Suite, and board-level stakeholders.
- Skilled at uncovering business challenges, building urgency, and aligning solutions to strategic outcomes.
- Experienced navigating large enterprises, multiple stakeholders, and long sales cycles.
- Able to articulate how skills, talent, learning, and AI initiatives contribute to measurable business performance.
- Confident challenging conventional thinking and leading conversations that drive change.
- Highly organized with strong prospecting habits, CRM hygiene, and forecasting accuracy.
- Thrives in a matrixed environment and effectively leverages specialist resources to win business.
- Exceptional presentation, storytelling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Resilient, coachable, competitive, and motivated by winning net new business.
- Willingness to travel up to 30-35%.
