Job Purpose
The Acquisition Executive is responsible for managing the onboarding of new content and associated assets into the business, ensuring programme materials are received, validated and prepared to support the company's distribution objectives.
Working collaboratively with producers, internal stakeholders and operational teams, the role manages the acquisition process from initial delivery through to acceptance, ensuring all required materials are available, complete and ready for exploitation.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt and onboarding of programme materials and associated assets from producers and content suppliers.
- Liaise with producers and post-production facilities to ensure all required deliverables are supplied in accordance with company specifications.
- Validate incoming deliveries, ensuring all required programme materials, metadata and supporting assets have been received.
- Monitor acquisition schedules and proactively communicate delivery progress, risks and delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute screening materials and assets to support internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records and delivery status within department systems.
- Work collaboratively with Technical Operations to ensure accepted assets are successfully transitioned into the content library.
- Support market, festival and promotional activities through the preparation and distribution of screening materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve the acquisitions workflow and producer engagement.
Experience:
- Experience within content acquisitions, production operations or media operations.
- Experience working with programme materials and associated support assets.
- Experience using Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and tracking systems.
Knowledge:
- Good understanding of television production and post-production workflows.
- Understanding of broadcast and digital content delivery specifications.
- Knowledge of metadata, publicity assets and supporting delivery materials.
- Understanding of Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and content supply chain workflows.
