We are looking for an ambitious, organised, and commercially minded Acquisition Manager & Assistant to the CEO to join our growing business group.
This is a hands-on role working directly with the CEO to help manage multiple companies, drive growth, and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, from attending meetings and overseeing projects to identifying potential acquisition opportunities and supporting business expansion.
This role requires someone who can take initiative, work independently, travel regularly, and adapt to changing business priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working closely with the CEO on a variety of business projects and initiatives.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of several companies within the group.
- Attending meetings with the CEO and, where required, representing the CEO on their behalf.
- Following up on actions and making sure projects are completed on time.
- Coordinating communication between managers, teams, and external stakeholders.
- Identifying and researching businesses that may be suitable acquisition targets.
- Building relationships with business owners, brokers, and professional contacts.
- Helping assess new business opportunities and growth strategies.
- Assisting with due diligence and acquisition processes.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and business updates.
- Travelling regularly to meetings, company sites, and industry events.

What We're Looking For
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A strong communicator with confidence working at all levels.
- Commercially aware and interested in business growth.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Professional, trustworthy, and discreet.
- Willing and able to travel regularly.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
