About the Role

As an Acquisition Campaign Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution and evaluation of customer acquisition campaigns, delivering against commercial and growth objectives for Tesco Mobile.

You will lead the development and delivery of integrated, direct response campaigns across a broad range of channels including DRTV, VOD, Radio, Outdoor, Press, PPC, Affiliates, Display, Social and YouTube. Working closely with cross-functional teams including CRM, Retail, Digital and Website, you will ensure campaigns are aligned, customer-centric and deliver maximum impact.

You will act as the primary stakeholder for campaign delivery, leading agency relationships, creative development and media planning to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and efficiently. Through strong collaboration and stakeholder management, you will create cohesive campaign strategies that drive customer acquisition and support business growth.

With a performance marketing mindset, you will use insight, data and audience segmentation to optimise campaign effectiveness and deliver the strongest possible return on investment. You will identify opportunities to test, learn and innovate, continuously evolving marketing approaches to improve campaign performance and unlock future growth opportunities.

As a channel-agnostic marketing leader, you will determine the optimal media mix required to achieve acquisition objectives, balancing effectiveness, efficiency and customer reach across multiple touchpoints. You will monitor market trends, emerging platforms and industry best practice to ensure Tesco Mobile maintains a competitive advantage in customer acquisition.

Working across a diverse media landscape requires broad marketing expertise. You will continuously develop your knowledge and capabilities, ensuring campaigns are delivered to best-in-class standards and that the team remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Presenting campaign strategies, recommendations and performance outcomes to senior stakeholders and leadership teams, and sharing best practice through internal showcases.
  • Managing annual campaign budgets across creative production and media investment, ensuring effective budget control, forecasting, purchase order management and invoice reconciliation.
  • Initiating and supporting strategic projects and backlog priorities that contribute to customer acquisition growth and support Tesco Mobile's ambition to be an industry-leading marketing function.
  • Utilising Jira to manage campaign workflows, prioritise deliverables and coordinate activity across squads and wider business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating strong ownership and accountability, proactively leading initiatives and driving outcomes with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across Tesco Group functions to ensure alignment and maximise campaign impact.
  • Partnering closely with Commercial teams to review performance, identify opportunities and develop bespoke marketing plans that deliver against business objectives.
  • Developing and nurturing strategic relationships with key manufacturer partners, including Apple, Samsung and Google, to unlock joint marketing opportunities and enhance campaign performance.
  • Operating effectively within an agile framework, actively participating in Chapter, Squad, Tribe and Centre of Excellence activities, working in sprint cycles and delivering against priorities set through the product backlog.
  • Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of WL1 Campaign Executives, building capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
