Mansion Property Management is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Acquisition Surveyor to join our growing Acquisitions team.
Working directly with the Director of Acquisitions, you will play a key role in identifying, analysing and securing new investment and development opportunities across the UK student accommodation sector (PBSA).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in acquisitions, investment and development within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
About the Role
This is not a traditional surveying role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys analysing opportunities, building relationships, negotiating deals and helping drive transactions from initial appraisal through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and evaluating acquisition and development opportunities
- Undertaking investment appraisals and financial analysis
- Preparing cash flow models, DCF appraisals and development assessments
- Supporting the negotiation of Heads of Terms and transaction documentation
- Managing due diligence processes alongside consultants and legal advisors
- Preparing Investment Committee papers and recommendations
- Building and maintaining a network of agents, developers, investors and industry contacts
- Monitoring market trends and analysing investment opportunities across target locations
- Supporting acquisitions through to completion and subsequent handover into operations

About You
We are interested in candidates from a range of real estate backgrounds, including:
- Acquisitions
- Development
- Investment
- Asset Management
- Capital Markets
- Agency
- Valuation (where there is commercial and transaction exposure)
You will ideally have:
- 2+ years' experience within the property industry
- Strong financial and commercial analysis skills
- Experience preparing property appraisals and investment assessments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence presenting recommendations and supporting decision-making
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Degree-qualified in a property, real estate or related discipline
- MRICS advantageous but not essential
- In commutable distance to our Head Office in Cheadle
