Acquisitions Technical Manager

📍UK based with national travel

This is a rare opportunity to become the technical authority behind an ambitious programme of acquisitions and portfolio growth for a leading UK hospitality operator.

Operating at the heart of the investment process, you will influence which opportunities progress, identify the risks others may overlook and help shape the future of a growing national estate. Your advice will directly inform major commercial decisions from initial appraisal through to acquisition and development planning.

The opportunity

  • Lead technical due diligence across prospective acquisitions and development sites
  • Assess asset condition, development constraints and potential capital expenditure risks
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear commercial recommendations
  • Work closely with senior decision-makers throughout the investment process
  • Manage architects, designers and specialist consultants
  • Influence post-acquisition design and development strategies
  • Build effective technical services and consultant frameworks
  • Play a defining role in the growth of a major hospitality portfolio

About you

We are looking for a credible technical leader with significant experience in property development, asset management or technical due diligence. Experience within hospitality, leisure or another operational property environment would be highly advantageous.
