Major Players is recruiting an Activation Assistant / Executive for a creative technology business within a leading global marketing network. The role pays up to £32,000.

Our client specialises in Dynamic Creative Optimisation (DCO), performance optimisation and scalable content activation. Its proprietary technology combines data, design and distribution to deliver personalised advertising at scale across display, video, social, CTV, DOOH and retail media. The company works with major media agencies and a premier roster of global brands. It pairs the scale of a global network with the agility and collaborative culture of a specialist technology business.
The role
As Activation Assistant / Executive, you'll join a fast-growing Creative Activation team. The team sits at the centre of campaign execution, creative technology and operational excellence. You'll work closely with activation specialists, media teams, strategists, analysts, creatives and platform partners to build, check and launch personalised advertising for some of the world's leading brands. You'll gain hands-on experience across campaign setup, creative QA, dynamic feeds, data-led messaging and platform workflows.

Key responsibilities
Campaign activation and delivery
- Support the setup and activation of dynamic creative campaigns across display, video, social and emerging channels
- Assist with campaign builds, creative variations, data feed mapping and audience-driven messaging frameworks
- Follow agreed processes and checklists so work is delivered accurately and on time
- Build experience across ad servers, creative management platforms, social platforms and proprietary systems
Creative technology and automation
- Develop working knowledge of the tools and systems used in creative activation
- Support template, feed and workflow setup under guidance from senior team members
- Identify small opportunities to improve process clarity, documentation or repeatability
- Stay curious about automation, emerging platforms and AI-assisted creative workflows
Quality assurance and troubleshooting
- Apply a "right first time" approach to QA, checking creative builds, links, data, copy and campaign settings
- Help troubleshoot setup issues across creative builds, feeds and platform environments
- Maintain accurate records, checklists and documentation throughout the activation process
Stakeholder partnership
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on campaign setup, QA status and delivery timelines
- Build confidence explaining operational requirements to technical and non-technical colleagues
- Contribute to positive working relationships across accounts, strategy, creative, analytics and development teams

Essential skills
- Interest in the technical and operational side of digital media
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience with Excel or structured data
- Inquisitive, problem-solving mindset
- Organised, methodical and able to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator, comfortable asking questions and sharing updates
- Collaborative and flexible approach to working across teams
- Curiosity about digital platforms, data-led creative and marketing technology
- Eagerness to learn DCO, creative activation and campaign QA
Desirable skills
- Experience with QA or checklist-based processes
- Campaign management, ad operations or digital media experience
- Data processing or analysis in Excel
- Familiarity with display, social or video advertising platforms
- Basic HTML5, CSS or JavaScript
- Understanding of creative production or agency workflows
