Activation Manager

MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading UK consumer Retail business on the search for an Activation Manager. This is a permanent role, Head Office based in Greater London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious activation or trade marketing professional looking to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in delivering integrated activation campaigns across a broad retail estate, working closely with leading FMCG suppliers and internal stakeholders to create commercially successful campaigns. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of integrated supplier-funded activation campaigns across multiple retail channels.
- Develop strong commercial relationships with supplier partners to secure investment and deliver joint activation plans.
- Create engaging seasonal, promotional, and tactical activation campaigns that drive shopper engagement and commercial performance.
- Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Creative, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Identify new activation opportunities that generate incremental revenue and enhance the customer experience.
- Manage campaign budgets, reporting, and ROI analysis, ensuring maximum return on supplier investment.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team, providing clear direction and support across campaign delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and shopper behavior to identify future activation opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience within Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Brand Activation, or Retail Marketing.
- Strong understanding of delivering integrated retail activation campaigns.
- Commercial mindset with experience working alongside suppliers or commercial teams.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring team members is advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure campaign success and identify future opportunities.
- A proactive, organized, and collaborative approach with a passion for delivering best-in-class activations.
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary up to £40,000
