Activation Manager - RAN / Network Deployment

Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 6-Month Contract
Location: Remote

Role Profile

This is a key role responsible for the end-to-end activation of new and upgraded RAN sites, ensuring sites are successfully planned, gated, integrated and activated into the network in line with delivery plans, SLAs and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end activation lifecycle for new and upgraded RAN sites, including forecasting, planning, fault resolution, re-visits and on-the-day escalations.
  • Provide accurate activation forecasts and progress updates to the Integration Manager and wider stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage dependencies, suppliers and vendors to ensure delivery remains on track and within forecast and budget.
  • Work closely with Regional teams, Vendors and external partners to coordinate activation plans and resources.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies that could impact Network Deployment programmes.
  • Ensure suppliers and stakeholders deliver against agreed plans and reporting requirements.
  • Support escalations, SLA management and continuous improvement across the activation process.
  • Investigate quality issues and faults and support the timely handover of sites into Operations.
  • Analyse trends and causes of failed or cancelled works and implement remedial actions to improve future delivery.
  • Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups, including senior management.
