What you become part of:

Join the team in a high-profile role delivering CCEP’s shopper activation strategy within one of our most strategically important Grocery customers.

The Customer Activation team are key to driving the brand portfolio through best-in-class activation in stores and online. Understanding the brand objectives and shopper insights enables our Activation Managers to identify the right solution to grow penetration, frequency, or spend per trip as required. Keeping the budget under control and assigning spend to the right brands, packs and moments is key to ensuring we deliver the plan to maximise ROI.

Customer Activation Managers are accountable for defining and delivering the ‘end to end’ shopper activation within our Customers. Also working collaboratively with other Commercial Development teams, Sales, The Coca-Cola Company and of course our customers is key to delivering great execution.

What to expect:

  • You would understand the shopper barriers & triggers to purchase and CCEP activation priorities within your environment/customers as well as the key trends and competitor landscape. You will share this knowledge directly with key customers and indirectly through sales teams.
  • You will work collaboratively with the FS and National sales teams for your customer to activate all the relevant shopper and brand strategies to meet the defined ABP metrics.
  • You will understand the commercial implications of decisions to make the right judgements to unlock best in class activation ensuring activation is aligned to Commercial priorities.
  • You will manage and prioritise TME spend within your customer ensuring spend is within allocated budgets and investments are delivering ROI.
  • You will work closely with our franchisors to execute relevant shopper / brand moments and ensure national campaigns are suitable for your customer to avoid customisation where reasonable for National campaigns (e.g. Premier League).
  • For any relevant ‘beacon customers’ for KO brands within your environment, you will work with the Brand Activation Team to create tailored activation plans to drive greater conversion and customer preference.
  • You will become your customers day to day contact for Marketing queries or recommendations.
  • You will represent your customer at any relevant internal meetings or external forums (industry conferences).
  • You’ll be responsible for Developing and mentoring 1 direct report.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role you need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent planning & budgeting control skills.
  • Analytical and data processing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate confidence in communicating with key stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience gained from working within a customer facing role in Shopper Marketing, Sales, or Category Development is preferred.
