Active H Developer (Housing)

Purpose of Role

To develop, configure, support and maintain the ActiveH Housing Management System, ensuring that housing business processes are efficiently automated and integrated with other corporate systems. The post holder will work with business users, suppliers and technical teams to deliver enhancements, reports, interfaces and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ActiveH modules and custom configurations.
  • Design, build and support system integrations using APIs, web services, XML and JSON.
  • Create and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects.
  • Develop management reports, dashboards and data extracts.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support system upgrades, testing and releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Produce technical documentation and user guides.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting or developing ActiveH Housing Management Systems.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills.
  • Experience of database design, T-SQL, stored procedures and views.
  • Knowledge of housing management processes.
  • Experience of system integrations and APIs.
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience of UAT, system testing and deployment.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Microsoft SQL certifications (desirable).
  • Agile or ITIL certification (desirable).
