Activities Assistant Contract
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Shifts: Day shifts available
- Benefits: Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
- Leave: 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

As an Activities Assistant, you will help plan and deliver a varied programme of activities designed to promote wellbeing, encourage social interaction and create enjoyable experiences for residents. From arts and crafts, games and celebrations to one to one engagement and community outings, your role will bring energy, companionship and positivity to daily life within the home.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, brings creativity and enthusiasm to a team and wants to make a genuine difference by helping residents feel engaged, valued and part of a vibrant community.
What Matters Most
- A warm, friendly and engaging personality
- Confidence communicating with people from all walks of life
- Creativity and enthusiasm for planning meaningful activities
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Ability to adapt activities to suit different interests and abilities
- Previous experience in activities, events, care or customer facing roles is beneficial but not essential
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping others
